6.5 Inch Subwoofer Ported Enclosure
thingiverse
UPDATE 4/14/2019: A critical update has been added, involving the inclusion of a 2mm gasket printed with TPU at 100% infill to eliminate the need for silicone in creating an air-tight enclosure. Insert M4 nuts into the top of the enclosure at approximately Z-axis LAYER height 700 & 710 when printing with a line thickness of 0.3mm per layer, after the hex nut holes have been printed. The nuts are 3mm tall and can be easily embedded during the print process for easier assembly and to avoid threading screws into the plastic. To insert this pause in the gcode file, search for ";LAYER:700" and edit it to include a M600 command. It is essential to have 1.5 spools of PLA on hand for this print, totaling 2.2kg of material. The estimated print time is approximately 6.5 days with a resolution of 0.25mm or about 4 days at 0.3mm resolution.
