6.5 inch Rear Speaker Bracket Kia Optima 2011
thingiverse
I designed a custom part for my Kia Optima's rear door speaker replacement. The original speaker I removed had an integrated bracket that formed a crucial part of the speaker itself, making it difficult to swap out with a standard 6.5 inch speaker. Since the speaker holes on the new speaker didn't align with those on the mounting box, I got creative and soldered the wires directly to the speaker clip harness. To keep things neat, I carefully cut a small groove into the plastic mounting box where the wire would pass through, then clamped in the speaker using this custom bracket. For added comfort and protection, I reused the original foam cushion that came with the bracket.
