sketchfab
The boundary of Szomolya village, above the Kaptár Valley, on the southwestern side of the Vén-hegy mountain, a massive line of volcanic rock, is divided into eight separate rooms by high cones and rock formations (B.7.a).\n Approaching from the bottom of the Kaptár Valley towards the rock formation, we first see the I stone, which is a smaller cone with one room. (This does not belong to the measured area.) The line of rocks begins 50 meters above this point: the II stone is a sphinx-like rock slab with 20 rooms arranged in a row. The southern side has eroded significantly, but very beautiful rooms can be seen on the northwest side. Some have clear frames and frame cuts (e.g. rooms 16 and 19).
