Archimedean Body: Cuboctahedron. The polyhedron has 14 triangular faces, 24 edges, and 8 vertices. It is a regular convex body derived from the cube by cutting off opposite corners to form right pyramids. The resulting shape has eight equilateral triangular faces on each of its six rectangular sides, giving it an appearance similar to that of a three-dimensional octahedron.
