This lantern was created in 2015 for Christmas celebrations. It features 3D printed litophanes as shades, which add a charming effect. Although the images shown are rendered, the real object performs equally well or even better. To print this design, you will need a printer bed size of 140x140mm. Once assembled, the lantern measures 140x140x172mm. For safety reasons, only electric light sources should be used. I have included a holder for traditional 3.5V E10 bulbs, which provides a natural warm light. If you plan to power it with AA batteries, you can download a free holder from https://cults3d.com/en/3D-model/home/holder-container-for-2xAA-battery.
