6.05:1 Speed Reducer Gearbox Powered by Toshiba B0252FLG3UMH02 AC Motor ORIGINAL AUTODESK INVENTOR 2020 MODEL

Go to my profile and check out the "6.05:1 Speed Reducer Gearbox Powered by Toshiba B0252FLG3UMH02 AC Motor STEP CONVERSION MODEL"I designed this model for academic reasons but I thought it would be nice to share it with the GRABCAD community.As mentioned by the title, this gearbox is a 6.05:1 reduction power train. It features a1:1 ratio synchronous input belt which serves as a sacrificial clutch and then a 2 stage reduction from 2.2:1 ratio to 2.75:1 ratio for a total of 6.05:1 ratio. The input and output shafts are equipped with Love-joy type flexible couplers for universal application. There are also fill and drain plugs that are conveniently located on the case. This gear box is powered by a Toshiba B0252FLG3UMH02 10HP AC motor that sports a 1.875" keyed shaft. Note: I did not design the motor and the model was provided by Toshiba. It is interesting to note that almost all of the parts are commercially available with/without machining modifications. The drawing files have notes as to the relevant modification. Though this design was created to be the power plant of a large industrial band saw, it can be used in a variety of applications. Much of the design and material choice stemmed from my automotive technician along with manufacturing experience. If you would like to see a demonstration video of the gearbox in action, please refer to the "Prototype Demonstration Video.mp4 file"If you would actually like to operate the model and have it driven, go to the model tree on the left of the screen and find the Toshiba Motor shaft(part file is listed as "Shaft:1"). However, I know that there are multiple "Shaft:1" parts so hover your mouse cursor over the shafts in the model tree until you can see the Toshiba motor shaft highlighted in the modeling window. Left click "plus" sign that will expand the part details in the model tree. Right click the "Angle:5 (0.00 deg)" constraint and left click "Drive." From there you can simply press the play button in the window that pops up. Have fun :)Final Note: This model was designed in Autodesk Inventor 2020.
