He prefers to ignore the above world, but will surface and appear during ritual ceremonies by priestess of Tlaloc. This is a defensive weapon for the tribe, as Balanza Yuum is in a foul mood when he does not find his mate waiting for him. The tribe of Tlaloc has been known to slaughter entire armies using the enraged, invincible old god, and thus maintains their independence against the other larger and stronger tribes.
