Revision: Made changes to the lid to make it easier to open. This is a 5-volt-to-9-volt battery case and charger housing designed to convert a standard car charger into a portable battery charger that accepts standard 9-volt batteries. Based on this YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Akqcos28R-0 You will need: 1x 9V battery 1x cigarette-plug-style car charger, such as this: https://www.walmart.com/ip/INSTEN-Universal-USB-Mini-Car-Charger-Adapter-White-For-LG-Nexus-4-5-Samsung-Galaxy-S2-S3-S4-Note-3-N9000-iPhone-5S-5C/28882850 1x 9-volt battery clip: https://www.amazon.com/5pack-Battery-Clips-leads-Corpco/dp/B01GMA8VUW/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1483990934&sr=8-3&keywords=9v+plug 1x case ~1" of 16-gauge wire for the hinge (you can use your 1.75mm filament too!) Tools you will need: A precision Exact-O knife. A soldering iron. Assembly instructions: (Will publish assembly video eventually!) Print the case. Disassemble the charger, and remove the electronics inside. Solder the positive lead to the terminal, and the ground to one of the common grounds. Insert the new unit into the battery case. You may need to either adjust or shave the posts to ensure a good fit. I have included the bottom .sldprt for you to modify if you need to for your specific application. When ready to charge, plug in the 9-volt battery.
