Update 2: My initial design was flawed, adding an extra 1cm or 2 to its length. Update: Version 2 Base now features four additional mounting holes, making it possible to secure the PSU from one side only. If you're using Octoprint, Astroprint, or Repetier Server and rely on a non-PC power supply for your printer, you'll need a secondary standby power source to control the printer remotely. I purchased a 5V1A PSU from eBay almost a year ago. Features include: * A cover for the entire power supply * Multiple mounting holes for securing the PSU * Made from multiple components that clip or friction fit together (I'll update this once I've tested it) * Holes for screwing in the PSU (optional) * The LED is not concealed Steps to create the enclosure: 1. Print one of the base options, which will seat the PSU. * This version has no vent holes. * Alternatively, you can add 1mm or 2mm vent holes for improved airflow. 2. Print one of the middle cover options, which clips onto the base and allows you to secure the sides. * Again, this version has no vent holes. * You can also opt for 1mm or 2mm vent holes for enhanced airflow. 3. Print the sides, which will enclose the rest of the PSU. 4. Find a suitable mounting solution (I'm designing one, but it may take some time).
