5V LM7805 Regulator Mount for WT-LC Case (with STP file)

<p>This is a work in progress and I am still testing it.</p> <p>This is designed to mount an LM7805 in my WT-LC 80mm RAMPS+Re-ARM case. I am adding a touch probe to my Re-ARM and the built in 5v regulator seems to be struggling with it so I am hoping that adding the LM7805 (fed from 12v off the supply) will give it enough juice to work reliably.</p> <p>Parts are not oriented for printing.</p> <p>STP file is included for easy remixing.</p> <p>The WT-LC 80mm Fan Latching Case for Re-ARM + RAMPS 1.6 can be found here:</p> <p><a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3052975">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3052975</a></p> <p>Updated - version 36U - adjusted the mounting holes and minor changes. (Testing now).</p> <p>Update - oops, my board does not work, and I think that for what I need it for it is not ideal. This board can take 12V DC (or AC) and I am only gonna feed it DC so I don't need all the extra stuff. I'm gonna look for something else or just make a small LM7805 board to do the job. I will leave this here in case somebody with an actual use for this particular board can use it.</p> Category: 3D Printer Accessories
