5v - 30v USB Powered Relay Module Case
thingiverse
I used this 5v USB powered relay to be able to control my Heatilator gas fireplace switch with a smart outlet as well as using Alexa to turn the fireplace on and off. The problem was that I just used some double sided foam tape to stick it to a surface underneath the fireplace which could result in shorting out the circuit board pins underneath. I searched Thingiverse for a case, but didn't find anything that would work so I made one. In the video, the guy uses an alligator clip to jump the wires, but for this case to work, you'll need to solder the jumper wire. This is my first contribution to the community so please be nice! :-) SMAKN Wide Voltage 5V-30V Power Supply Adjustable Trigger Delay Time Relay Module https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00WSCJT1Y/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=ll1&tag=wemofireplaceclip-20&linkId=5115d6ada7b2d59a9d4bbf37dee4ac44 Instruction video for how to do it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9EKPcxxBL0&t=59s
