This adapter keeps the input drive shaft spaced out so that the pin on top of the plastic gear remains in place and doesn't get jammed. Installing it is a breeze, with a simple screw-in design that requires no special tools. The hole measures 5mm in diameter and is 3mm long, making it easy to install and adjust as needed. I printed mine using PETG filament, which provided plenty of strength, but PLA works just fine too.\r\n\r\nTo get the perfect fit on my Ender 3 scale, simply scale the adapter to these dimensions:\r\n\r\nx=6.5mm\r\ny=6.5mm\r\nz=3mm\r\n\r\nThis worked out great for me.
