5mm timing belt jointer for delta style printers
thingiverse
To create closed loops from timing belts, I had to fashion them into perfectly circular shapes that could not only be tensioned but also securely attached to the linear bearing slider on my delta printer build. To prevent support material from getting lodged inside the geared area, I printed each loop facing upwards. Given the tight tolerance required, it's possible that you may need to adjust the configuration for your specific printer, but this design ensures a snug fit that won't easily come loose. The part features a countersunk hole designed specifically to accommodate a roundhead #10 machine screw.
