5mm LED Socket for Cute Big LED Snowman (option)

Its not really a remix. Its an option for the Cute Big Snowman by Segeer. This socket fits snugly into the deck of the Snowman using hot-glue. The image shows the original deck by Segeer and in the center, my LED socket takes its place. It provides three holes perfect for three 5mm-LEDs, with enough room inside for the serial-resistor (220 ohms). The holes are a bit tight, so it's thought that drilling them out with a 5mm drill will ensure the LEDs fit exactly. All LEDs and the resistor are connected in series, with careful attention to polarity. I used an old power supply with 12 volts and 200mA - note the importance of polarity, too. The LEDs consume about 20mA.
