5MM LED lamp holder
pinshape
This is a Work in Progress! My goal is to create a high output emergency strobe that contains all the electronics inside. Initially, I designed it for a single LED, but then I thought it would be better with six grouped together. For now, I'm using red LEDs, although my plan is to use yellow ones later on. The design is extremely bright and can't be captured in one shot because it overpowers the camera. Future additions will include a removable stand, waterproof cover, and the electronics themselves. If you're interested in this project, stay tuned! If you just want to use the design for another project, that's fine too, but please give me credit. I've used my FFCP to create sockets that fit tightly around the LEDs, holding them securely in place. I've uploaded both a single LED holder and the six-LED version. The infill percentage can be adjusted according to how durable you want the final product to be. For my intended end result, I plan to use 100% infill so it can withstand being run over. I designed this project using 123D Design and printed it with Simplify3D.
