5m VU meter: Noise-o-Meter in the center "ball" of school
thingiverse
I built a Noise-o-Meter for fun at our school. It doesn't actually measure noise, but shows how crowded it is in the central hall of Summa ICT. The VU meter isn't installed yet, but a picture shows where it would go. Feel free to make one of these big "Noise-o-Meter" displays yourself. I used cheap Chinese parts, and it works just fine. When you use the code, be aware that if you have a different Neopixel strip than 2811 (like 2812b), you'll need to modify the code - specifically LEDx3 and maybe the HUE colors.
