<p>I go through so much filament in my class that I feel like I'm changing the roll every day. So, I purchased a 5kg roll of black for my Lulzbot Taz 6 printer and quickly realized I would need another solution to mounting it and making sure it didn't have a lot of resistance when being fed.</p> <p>To solve this, I designed this spool holder. It uses 2 ball bearing in each roller (7x22x7). In the pics, you will notice that I have a couple of O rings in the middle of the rollers. I use these as guides when I have a standard 1kg spool mounted. So, there are two versions of the rollers - one is smooth all the way and a second has the guides built in.</p> <p>I have split the files up for individual printing or laid out to print together.</p> Category: 3D Printer Accessories
