Video of the Tach Working UPDATE v2 https://youtu.be/MrZkrVIOLvY - I added several different faces, including ones to be laser cut for cleaner look. - added step file so you can edit and change to your liking. I tried a couple different methods of making the face, for a fully 3d printed option and wanting the leds behind the face, I would print in white until you pass the lower part of the text, then switch filament to black and print the top half should give you a nice clean look. ( I tried and printed all in white and then paint black, and planned to sand off the top layer but I wouldnt suggest this it was hard to sand and not hit the face, and didnt come out clean at all.) I laser cut two faces, one on clear acryllic thatI had painted then cut, I went to deep on the tick marks but it looked good. I knew my final version I was gonna used this smoked acryllic I have and it came out looking amazing. You can also purchase the laser cut face or all the parts from my website. https://store.mrbproduktions.com/shop/ v1 https://youtu.be/ANwjYZHo20g To use this you will need - 9g servo (common rc plane ones usually blue) https://www.amazon.com/s?k=9g+servos&ref=nb_sb_noss - a 10k pot(for now this isnt actually used its more of a pivot point, was planning on using it but didnt need to. I am going to make another version of the face that can be printed in white, painted black then the letters can be sanded to reveal the white. This would the allow backlights to be installed, as well as in the future will add shift lights in the face as well.
