The human form is a marvel of complexity and fragility, capable of achieving incredible feats while simultaneously being susceptible to illness and injury. From the intricate dance of neurons firing in the brain to the delicate balance of hormones that regulate every bodily function, humans are a true wonder of nature. With the capacity for language and problem-solving that sets them apart from other living beings, humans have been able to adapt and thrive in even the most inhospitable environments. Despite their many strengths, however, humans are also vulnerable to the ravages of time, subject to the whims of chance and the cruel hand of fate.
