598 Dial and 591 Knob Set

These are my attempts to replicate the Vintage Dial Surround and Knob for the 598 Dial. These are typically used with a 10:1 reduction gearbox. The project was created because they are no longer available for purchase. Please note: The knob size is larger than the official size of the original 591 Knob. Other radii were also altered to better suit 3d Printing. **Updated Note: The design as published and uploaded had the knob dimensions adjusted to give more clearance between the underside of the knob and the horizontal hole in the shaft. This adjustment was made to provide attitional clearance for the installation of the brass thread using a soldering iron. On previous models, this clearance was found to be too small, increasing the risk of heat damage to the underside of the knob surface. It has been noted that this new model doesn't print as clean on the underside now as the support material is difficult to remove in 0.5mm mm section.
