Besides what you'll be printing, make sure to gather:\n\nAstroSolar Safety Film OD 5.0 or an acceptable alternative.\n58 mm screw-thread lens mount, sourced from a cost-effective replica of Mennon DV-S 58.\nThree 4×6 mm bolts (or equivalent) along with nuts.\nCyanoacrylate glue, commonly known as Super Glue.\nPrint the components with heat-resistant white plastic that tolerates UV light and sand them down for smoothness. Drill precise holes for the bolts. Create a 70 mm circular cutout (60 mm core + 5 mm overlap) from AstroSolar Safety Film OD 5.0 material. Assemble the filter flanges by gluing one circle flange part to the film, then attach the second flange part, sandwiching the film in between. Cut the screw-threaded part of the lens hood and smooth it out with sandpaper as well. Securely glue the hood to the triangle flange mount. Use the bolts to link the filter to the lens adapter, forming a sturdy connection.
