Tamper made to fit nicely into a 58mm commercial style portafilter. The actual diameter of the bases is 58.4mm and it is pretty snug, but not overly so. The shape is just right and if you're using a 18g basket the top of the base will be close to flush with the top of the basket making it easy to get level.
