58.5mm Portafilter Funnel

<p>This is a simple dosing funnel for a precision (VST, IMS, etc.) 58mm portafilter basket. It has a wider mouth designed for filling the basket using a dosing cup either from something like a Niche Zero or a hand grinder. The lip that fits in to the basket is a little shorter/thinner than other designs I've seen to hopefully not disturb the grounds too much after dosing and doing WDT.</p><p>The basket lip outer diameter measures a little under 58.5mm after printing on my printer, though the CAD specifies that it should be exactly 58.5mm. It should be a nice snug fit in the basket regardless, but not so snug that it's difficult to work with.</p><p>The outer angle of the funnel itself measures 55<strong>° </strong>so it shouldn't need supports to print beyond the basket seat. The model as uploaded is the best orientation I found to print; it just needs support on the basket seat of course. The print would definitely benefit from soluble supports and a tight interface, but it works, nonetheless.</p><p>I would definitely recommend a maximum of .1mm layer height to prevent any odd places where grounds may stick or collect. Print in your food-safe plastic of choice and enjoy.</p>
