L/B = 6.4. Version 82 displaces 15,614 long tons (15,865 metric tons) salt water at 21'-4" draft (6.50 m). Hull features forward and aft gates for vehicle loading, and upper- and lower-level vehicle storage. Ample deck area inside superstructure provides for crew/passenger accommodation, restaurants, and duty-free shops (see sections provided at Stations 0.5, 4.5, 10 and 15). Bow is not bulbous nor wave-piercing (unconventional by present standards) but is structurally supported for ICE class, enabling ship to double as an icebreaker in Scandinavian waters (North, Baltic Seas). Admiralty Coefficient of Power (Clark, The Nautical Institute) should attain 32-34 fps, but chine forward of the midbody reserved for propulsion scheme (unknown at time of design). Stern may be lifted/faired to induce flow to propulsive effects of Stena's choosing.
