A terracotta statue of a woman in a richly pleated peplos, completed with an elaborate coiffure and a broad, low apron. The woman is depicted frontally with her right hand on her chest and her left arm along her body. The obverse of the statue is formed, while the reverse has no modeling with a large, rectangular firing hole. On the surface, a white engoba remains with preserved polychromy (red color on the hair, border of the peplos, and upper edge of the larger, right-angled base). Statues similar to this one are known from Boeotia during the Classical period - 5th century BC. Dimensions: height 223 mm. Literature: Dufková, M., Pardyová, M., Čižmářová, J.
