56 Year Calendar

56 Year Calendar

This perpetual calendar functions from 2020 until 2075. Its design is based on traditional brass pocket calendars I've encountered. The two components fit together with a snug friction joint. The shaft's height allows for easy addition of a retaining mechanism. I created this model in Sketchup, then sliced it at 0.16mm thickness using Cura. It was printed on an Ender3 with the standard 0.4mm nozzle. A filament change occurred at layer 16 to enhance the visibility of numbers and letters. The complete Sketchup file is included for anyone who wishes to modify it. If scaled down excessively, some smaller letters may not print properly. To use this calendar, align the year with the month. As you move through the weeks, the days will shift in relation to the numbers.
