The Larson Electronics GVP-48-2L-LED provides an LED alternative to fluorescent fixtures, offering longer lamp life and higher performance. Ideal for applications such as ships, offshore locations, marine environments, manufacturing facilities, water treatment centers, shopping malls, parking structures, and outdoor flood lighting, this four-foot long, two lamp LED fixture reduces operating costs, improves lighting quality, and decreases downtime due to frequent servicing intervals. The GVP-48-2L-LED is designed for use in wet areas and saltwater environments where corrosion resistance is critical. Equipped with two specially designed LED T8 style lamps that produce 3500 lumens each, this fixture offers better light output and longer lamp life with reduced maintenance costs. The absence of a ballast and solid-state LED light tubes result in power consumption of less than 1 amp while maintaining durability and versatility that fluorescent fixtures cannot match. The second generation LED tube lamps included with this fixture have increased the performance of this hazardous location light, making it lighter in weight and producing more light than hazardous location fluorescent fixtures. The four-foot long LED tube design bulbs are rated at 50,000 hours of service life, twice as long as standard T8 bulbs. With no ballast, internal drivers within the LED lamps eliminate external power components, and the solid-state design offers superior resistance to damage from vibration, temperature extremes, and a lamp service life over twice that of standard fluorescent bulbs. The GVP-48-2L-LED is universally voltage, operating on any voltage from 120V to 277V AC 50/60hz without modifications and is available in 5600K cool white, 4500K natural white, and 3000K warm white.
