55mm Pinch-on Lens Cap

I created this cap with a clear vision in mind - to completely cover the lens face, filter ring, and all, like a snug sheath, while also being a convenient "spring-loaded" pinch-on style. The design was tailored for specific lenses that I had in mind, but I wanted it to be versatile enough to work on various lenses from different manufacturers. After printing and testing this cap on three distinct lenses, the results were exactly as I had envisioned.
