55mm Brushless spindle magnetic dust shoe

This is a vacuum attachment / dust shoe designed specifically for use with 55mm spindles. To assemble, press-fit two stacked 2mm x 8mm rare earth magnets into each side of the attachments, resulting in a total of sixteen magnets. Be mindful of polarity when attaching these magnets. Alternatively, they can be epoxied into place. Next, attach the top part to the spindle using M4 screws and socket caps. I used this combination on my specific spindle, which is a 400W CNC DC air-cooled spindle motor with an ER8 NVBDL+ configuration capable of reaching speeds of up to 12,000 rpm via its brushless design. This setup should work seamlessly with most brushless spindles available on the market. However, please note that my specific spindle is from Amazon and may have slight variations depending on your chosen model. The hose attachment is designed for use with 1 1/4in shopvac-style hoses. I measured the attachment to fit my specific hose end, which had a diameter of approximately 33mm. Be sure to check the size of your hose end to ensure compatibility or consider sanding down the attachment as needed.
