552856 - Button - Hand Brake - SERIES IIA & III
thingiverse
I'm really proud of how this part for my Land Rover Series III 1976 turned out. It took a lot of searching to find the right one, and I didn't want to break the bank, so I decided to design it myself and print it. I'm thrilled with the final result - I used yellow ABS because my car is a bright and cheerful yellow. The inner hole was a bit smaller than needed, but that wasn't a problem for me. I simply used an M5 screw tap to make the necessary adjustments. The fit is perfect, which is great news. As soon as I have some free time, I'll install this part into my car and take an extra photo of it in action. That way you can see how everything fits together. Here are the print settings I used: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa I3 Hephestos Rafts: No rafts at all Supports: None needed Resolution: 0.1 mm precision Infill: A solid 100% infill for added strength and durability I printed this part in ABS plastic at a temperature of 250 degrees Celsius, with the bed set to 85 degrees Celsius.
