I recently acquired a Breville Dual Temp Pro without any endorsement and in my pursuit of the ultimate espresso, I decided that the standard tamper provided with the machine wasn't satisfactory. I won't delve into the intricacies of making espresso, but as a novice getting a flat 90-degree tamp can be challenging. Similar products exist in 58 mm, but the Breville uses 53 mm portafilters so I had to create my own as one was not available for purchase. This tamper features a slot for an M3 nut and bolt that secure the rotating components in place, preventing them from shifting during the tamping process. All the parts were designed with a 0.013 inch tolerance which is quite precise. If a higher tolerance model is required, please let me know. Also, ensure your print bed is levelled properly to prevent coffee from seeping between the layer lines on the first layer. I didn't bother orienting the .stl file correctly (separating meshes, positioning the correct surface to the bed). If this causes any issues, please inform me and I'll make the necessary adjustments. The circles with the largest surface area should be flat against the bed.
