Crafting my own waterblock for a 52mm CNC spindle was a challenge I enthusiastically took on. To securely fasten the block, three M3 screws fit perfectly into their respective holes. Sealing the deal, gasket maker can do wonders unless you're fortunate enough to have both ends of the block perfectly flat and flush - then just a snug ring would suffice. Conveniently attached hooks line the side, allowing for various securing options like wire, rubber bands, or cable ties to firmly fasten it in place around the spindle. It's also essential not to overlook adding a thermal pad between the waterblock and the spindle for optimal heat dissipation performance. Having made these considerations, you can now safely connect 1/4 inch or 6.35mm ports designated for inlet and outlet channels, chosen precisely because of their widespread availability across many stores with a wide range of thread pitches.
