I wanted to remix Nellson's spindle mount from scratch to learn about lofting because I couldn't import his files into my OnShape.\r\n\r\nThe main differences are:\r\n- a beefier connection to the mpcnc tool mount is provided\r\n- magnets are placed in pockets that can be sealed to slow the inevitable rust\r\n- the vacuum foot comes away from the ER11 part of the spindle without resistance now\r\n- almost no cleaning after printing is required\r\n- no support structures are needed during printing\r\n\r\nPrint the base and the vacuum foot magnet sides down, and no support will be necessary.\r\n\r\nTo complete this project, you'll need:\r\n(4) M4x12 button head screws to attach the base to the spindle\r\n(6) M4x20 screws to attach the parts to the tool mount\r\n(6) 8mm (diameter) x 3mm (thickness) Neodymium magnets. You can purchase 12 and double up for extra magnetism if you think it's needed.\r\n\r\n2019-07-07 - A minor edit was made on the vacuum foot to improve clearance around the nut on the ER11 collet.
