This is a custom holder to securely attach a 52mm gauge to your dashboard. Two sturdy mounts are included - one curved for mounting on the steering column or pillar, and another flat mount designed specifically for the dashboard installation. In contrast to my initial prototype, this improved design features a larger 53mm aperture that should provide an easier fit without any modifications required. If your gauge is slightly loose within its housing, you can easily secure it by wrapping a few strips of tape around the outer circumference to effectively increase its diameter. Assembly requires a small nut and bolt which also doubles as an adjustable tilt angle mechanism. This clever setup includes a pre-cut groove for accommodating nuts with 4mm thick sides - simply assemble the holder and then snugly fasten the bolt into place, watching closely as it draws the nut neatly within the predetermined recess. This particular installation involved securing a Turbosmart boost gauge to the steering column of a reliable 2002 Subaru WRX model. For best results, print on an UP Plus machine using durable ABS plastic and reinforced supports. Finish off with a coat of high-gloss spray paint for an optimal finish.
