This lightweight Aero Wheel is designed to be Earth's fastest, using cutting-edge materials. Specifically made for TT bikes, its front wheel with a 160mm brake rotor weighs just 520 grams due to extensive use of Carbon Fiber/Graphene Oxide-Epoxy Hybrid composites. Dassi's INTERCEPTOR™ GRAPHENE bike frame uses this material, which is 70% stiffer and 30% lighter than high quality CF-Epoxy Prepeg. Spokes maintain stiffness and lightweight with unidirectional Carbon Fiber and transversal fibers for reinforcement. The rim core is aerospace grade foam ROHACELL® 31A, while the axle is Titanium Ti-6Al-4V with Ceramic Boron Nitride Bearings. Rev 2.0 updates include improved spokes, a 160mm Titanium Brake Rotor, rectified measures, enhanced aerodynamics on the rim, standard tubular tire geometry, and clipping blade.
