My trusty desk lamp let me down, so I fired up my 3D printer to craft a more modern and efficient lamp for my home office space. This innovative new design boasts cutting-edge features such as internal air ducts and intelligent heat management, ensuring that five powerful 10W LEDs remain under tight control at all times. Due in part to the exceptional thermal dissipation, the lamp stays refreshingly cool even when you run your hands over it. I've taken the liberty of including my trusty 3D printed drill guide that helped me precision-drill the holes for those LED units with ease. To replicate this sleek new lamp at home, be prepared to gather an impressive list of materials: a solid 8mm diameter metallic rod (I opted for high-quality brass) will serve as the sturdy base-to-top connection, alongside a compact computer fan, a heavy-duty 150x60x25mm heat sink, and five top-notch 10W LEDs along with reliable driver circuits.
