50th Decor
thingiverse
I designed a few decorations for my friend's 50th birthday party when I couldn't find any, and now I'm sharing them with you. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Printrbot Printer: Printrbot Simple Metal Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 25% Notes: I printed these in PLA. You'll need to print the springy outside and honeycomb pieces of the numbers separately, then assemble them. For the three outside pieces (outside on 5, outside and inside on 0), I set my slicer (Cura) to 0.4 shell and 0% infill for a single pass. You can scale them to fit your print bed size. Post-Printing: The numbers have a groove on the inside where you insert the honeycomb center. I glued the assembled "5" and "0" to their stand so they'd sit upright.
