I use a simple test piece to set my filament temperatures. I uploaded it to help a forum member solve their issue, but it might be useful to others as well. Print with a brim. The following general rules will help you dial in the perfect temperature. I'm not sure where I found these instructions, so I'll give credit to the author. They may not be the final answer, but they've been helpful to me. I added the bits in parentheses based on my own experiences. If your model shrinks at the bottom and lifts the corners up, your overall bed temperature is probably too high. If the bottom corners or edges of your model start peeling up around the outside, your first-layer bed temperature is likely too low. If layers separate overall, it means your extruder temperature is too low, or you need to increase your extrusion multiplier. If your model has blobs on the sides, your extruder temperature is probably too high. (Also check for improper retraction settings.) If there are gaps in the extrusions of your model, it's likely that your extruder is too cold, and/or your print speed is too fast. (Also check for partially clogged extruders and moisture/dirt in filament.)
