50mm spindle, BfB 3D Touch printer

Replace your 3mm spool's spindle using the 54mm-hole UltiMachine or Makerbot 1kg spools; this is applicable for BfB spindles of different sizes. First, print a base from Thingiverse's item number 26205 and then my top and bottom. Print with a 0.5mm resolution, 50% fill, and extra skins. A standard US 8x22x7 skateboard bearing (middle) is required; obtain it from a local skate shop. Assemble by snapping the bearing in place, gluing the bottom and top. To change the spindle, use a 6mm Allen wrench while lifting it up to reattach the nut with the spacer intact. STEP files are uploaded for use; contact for other formats if needed, created using Autodesk 123D (except SCAD).
