I use a variety of LED strip fan mounts to illuminate my print bed and printhead: - I mount these under or above the fan (30mm, 40mm or 50mm in diameter). - The adhesive LED strips are 50mm long by 8mm wide. - To insulate the LED wires, I use electrical tape on either side. - Alternatively, I fasten the LED wires with insulated wire or a zip tie to one side. Common applications include: - E3D V6 printheads paired with a 30mm fan or 40mm fan. - Chimera or Cyclops printers fitted with a 30mm fan. - CR10 hotends and Swiss Micro Hotends based on these designs.
