I needed to create a small spacer or standoff to elevate the 50mm fan by a few millimeters from my RPi 3 case.\r\n\r\nThis particular project involves a 50mm fan with hole spacing based on a 40mm square pattern.\r\n\r\nThe spacer's thickness of 2mm provides just enough clearance for my needs without significantly raising the profile of the fan.
