50mm calibration angle

Calibrate your machine using the provided 50mm calibration angle. This small and fast tool will help you get calibrated quickly! Print it on your Printrbot Jr. The outer X and Y measurements are 50mm, while inner spaces measure at 30mm; the whole object is only 5mm thick, with each arm being 10mm wide. Follow the instructions below to achieve precise calibration results: In Slic3r's custom Start g-code area, you'll find four calibration values for X, Y, Z, and E. If these don't exist, add them using the provided example values for a Printrbot Jr.: G28 (homes all axes), M92 X63.0242 (calibrates X), M92 Y62.7669 (calibrates Y), M92 Z2071.4959 (calibrates Z), and M92 E650 (calibrates extruder). To calibrate, print the object and measure it with a caliper. Compare the X and Y measurements to 50mm; for X, this is side-to-side when facing the printer, while for Y, it's back-and-forth movement. Calculate your new custom g-code value by multiplying the current value by the model length (50mm) and then dividing by your measurement. Repeat the process for Y and Z if needed. Upon successful calibration, reprint the object with recommended settings like 1 perimeter, 1 shell top and bottom, and an infill of .1 or 10%. Happy printing!
