50mm 5cm Fan Guard - Minimalist / Ultra Light / High Flow

So many fan guards, so little time! But we really wanted an ultra-light, ultra-high-flow, ultra-quiet version, with our idea of the absolute minimal "guards". This one was made specifically for our MakerGear M2 in particular, and we've included a version with a small plate on the side for mounting a voltage regulator (to allow a 12V fan on the 24V line that powers the stock fan) as seen in the photos. We used 3M double-stick tape and a bit of hot glue to anchor the voltage regulator securely. Running a 12V fan will definitely reduce flow compared to the original (LOUD) 24V fan, but obviously it also reduces noise quite a bit, and an adjustable voltage regulator opens up your options greatly (e.g. ball bearing fans, cheap-sauce fans, any random 5V or 12V 50mm fans you have lying around the shop). Since we run our M2 continuously here in the Valarm shop, and since the shop is located above the living area... quiet is absolutely essential. We can't imagine printing without at least one support, right in the middle. And since I printed it with no bed fan (because... that's why I was printing this), I actually used a lot of supports because bridging without a fan is pretty dismal. Up to you though.
