50mm 3 Jaw Chuck for 5mm motor shaft
thingiverse
I've adapted mdkendall's 3 jaw chuck (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2670620) to fit directly onto a 5mm motor shaft, and also downsized it so that the housing has a diameter of 50mm, allowing it to fit snugly on my photon zero bed. The circlip and jaws remain original components, but I've modified both the scroll plate and the housing. Printed on my Anycubic Photon Zero resin printer without supports, the circlip was printed in PLA on my FDM machine while still soft. Before final curing, I checked that all parts fit together perfectly and worked as expected by adding some grease during assembly. The jaws were a bit too loose when printed in resin, so I've included my modified .stl files for reference. When printing in resin, I left the other parts intact; however, I did modify the jaws to achieve optimal performance.
