Well, this is a remix from the original 50 cal solid bullet with a precisely drilled 4mm hole in its center to securely attach a Bic Pen tip and ink tube. Credit: This innovative creation builds upon a design concept originally conceived by MrCrankyface. For more information about him, visit his page at http://www.thingiverse.com/MrCrankyface/about. The original thing can be found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1621494. Print Settings: Printer: I used my trusty P3Steel (Prusa i3 Mod) 3D printer for this project. Rafts: Yes, I opted to print with rafts to ensure a stable and even first layer. Supports: Yes, I added supports to prevent any potential warping or deformation during the printing process. Resolution: I set the resolution to 0.1mm for maximum detail and precision. Infill: Yes, I chose to infill the object at 10% density to achieve a good balance between weight and structural integrity. Notes: To prepare the print for post-processing, I loaded it into Slic3r as my 3D slicing software of choice. Post-Printing: After printing, I sanded the surface if necessary. Notably, I deliberately oversized the hole by 1.1 times to account for any potential shrinkage of the PLA material during the cooling process.
