I was on the hunt for a custom tray to cradle .50AE caliber cartridges used by the Desert Eagle .50 cal, but my search came up empty-handed. So, I decided to create one myself, capable of holding 25 rounds. To print it, I employed raft technology without supports – a configuration that works beautifully with a 20-30% infill setting for each shell. The tray yields even better results when printed in ABS than PLA, but either material will produce a usable product. One notable feature of the design is its closed bottom, which ensures the cartridges stay securely in place and don't fall out. We utilize these trays in our store to house ammunition that's been rejected due to damaged or discarded packaging.
