I frequently employ double-row 5050 LEDs in my home lighting due to their brightness and good CRI. To replace shop lights and room lights, I've arranged long double-LED strips neatly into rows. However, the real issue with these LEDs lies in their extremely weak mounting tape on the backside, and even double-sided mounting tape doesn't function perfectly for extended periods. To overcome this problem, I devised a solution that provides better support by bracing the light against the ceiling or wall and includes 4 mounting screw holes for added stability. When needed, it also interlocks with adjacent units. This setup has proven to be an ideal method for me to install these strips using my preferred filament color (white, warm white, silver, etc.). Since I can print these fixtures without supports (not very long bridges), it makes for a swift way to get things securely hung up and in place. The screw holes measure 3mm each, allowing for various small screws suitable for wood or drywall. Due to their minimal weight-bearing capacity, drywall anchors are not necessarily required.
