Ran into an issue where a fan stopped working on my ender 2 pro. I couldn't find a 5010 24v fan to buy other than the one that came with it, that only lasted 20 hours of operation. So I drew this up to print out on my other machine. I did end up finding some fans that fit and my other printer has been busy so I haven't had the chance to print it out. Nor do I need this right now. I also don't have a single extra pc fan laying around for some reason anymore. I used to have a box of them.

I kind of hazarded a guess to hole sizes as well, and I modeled the M3 threads for the 4010 fan. If you got some kind of crazy printer or maybe msla you could print working threads that small, but I've found even though you can't print these with a .2 layer height, it'll size the holes so that you can either run a tap through them or have the screw form the threads the first time it goes it. I wouldn't think it will need brass inserts if it's just holding a fan in place. I've threaded plenty of things right into pla and it holds fine enough for light duty stuff.

I included the step file in case something is horribly wrong and you need to throw my work away and start over. If you do let me know and I'll update this with a second version and link back to my post with your remix or whatever.

If i get a chance i'll print one out and use my hot end fan to see if everything works, or if i happen across a 4010. Either way I'll update this with any changes that need made and make note of them.

Overall size:

60mm x 60mm x 5mm

(could be thinner too probably if you needed it)
