500um micro fluidic channel in a cuvette
thingiverse
This is a microfluidic cuvette with an internal channel measuring 500 micrometers. The channel consists of two distinct sections: a straight channel along the side and a winding path through the center. For optimal fluid flow, inject liquid into the straight channel and allow it to flow up the curved one. Print Settings Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker 2 Rafts: Not necessary Supports: None required Resolution: 0.1 millimeters Infill: Not needed Notes: To achieve the best results, use an Ultimaker 2 printer with a layer height of 0.1 mm and an extrusion speed of 50 mm/s. Transparent plastics work well for this design, allowing you to see the internal features clearly. Post-Printing Optional acetone treatment: Some users have successfully passed a low-concentration (5%) acetone solution in IPA through the channel to smooth out the internal details. However, it is not necessary to do so.
