A featherweight Aero Wheel has been engineered as Earth's fastest, utilizing advanced materials. Exclusively designed for TT bikes, it weighs just 499.76 grams. Carbon Fiber/Graphene Oxide-Epoxy Hybrid composites provide the lightness, being 70% stiffer and 30% lighter than high quality CF-Epoxy Prepeg. Spokes maintain stiffness and lightweight with unidirectional material and transversal fibers for reinforcement. The rim core is aerospace grade foam ROHACELL® 31A, the axle is Titanium Ti-6Al-4V with Ceramic Boron Nitride Bearings. It's 30% lighter than top Aero wheels like the Mavi 740g Comete Pro Carbon SL UST. Note: This is a concept design.
